Byron wins at Iowa
#24-William Byron won the Iowa Corn 350 NASCAR Cup Series race at Iowa Speedway. The win is his second win of the year, first at Iowa and 15th career win. Pole sitter #19-Chase Briscoe finished 2nd followed by #6-Brad Keselowski, #12-Ryan Blaney, #60-Ryan Preece, #23-Bubba Wallace, #48-Alex Bowman, #77-Carson Hocevar, #22-Joey Logano, and #3-Austin Dillon.
Byron led 141 laps, the most of anyone. The team originally thought he would be short on fuel, but a rash of late race cautions allowed him to save enough to make it to the finish without issue. The fastest lap bonus a earned by #6-Brad Keselowski. There were 10 lead changes among 6 drivers and 12 cautions for 72 yellow flag laps. The average speed of the race was: 92.905mph.
