Logano wins at Texas
#22-Joey Logano won the Würth 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway. The win is his 1st win of the year, 2nd at Texas and 37th career win. #1-Ross Chastain finished 2nd followed by #12-Ryan Blaney, #5-Kyle Larson, #43-Erik Jones, #47-Ricky Stenhouse Jr., #3-Austin Dillon, #42-John Hunter Nemechek, #20-Christopher Bell, and #99-Daniel Suarez.
Logano led just seven laps on the day. He took the lead with three laps to go and held on through a late race caution and overtime finish to win by .346 second. Pole sitter #77-Carson Hocevar led 22 laps early in the race, but was caught in an accident with 30 laps remaining, lost several laps, and finished 24th.
The fastest lap bonus was earned by #77-Carson Hocevar. There were 20 lead changes among 13 drivers and 12 cautions for 73 yellow flag laps. The average speed of the race was: 116.885mph.
