Suarez wins at Sonoma
#99-Daniel Suarez won the Toyota / Save Mart 350 NASCAR Cup Series race at Sonoma Raceway for his first career win. He led the final 26 laps and pulled away to win by nearly 4 seconds. He is the fifth foreign-born driver to win a Cup Series race. #17-Buscher finished 2nd followed by #34-McDowell, #4-Harvick, #2-Cindric, #12-Blaney, #1-Chastain, #9-Elliott, #24-Byron, and #6-Keselowski.
Pole winner #5-Larson led 26 laps to start the race, but got off sequence from other drivers and never made it back to the front. Late in stage two he lost a wheel following a green flag pit stop. He finished 15th.
