Truex wins at Sonoma
#19-Martin Truex, Jr. won the Toyota / Save Mart 350 NASCAR Cup Series race at Sonoma Raceway. The win is his 2nd win of the year, 4th at Sonoma and 33rd career win. #8-Busch finished 2nd followed by #22-Logano, #17-Buescher, #9-Elliott, #16-Allmendinger, #34-McDowell #5-Larson, #20-Bell, and #1-Chastain.
Truex dominated much of the race, leading 51 of 110 laps and winning by nearly 3 seconds after taking the lead for the final time with 13 laps to go. Pole winner #11-Hamlin wrecked late in the race and could not continue. He finished 36th. There were 10 lead changes among 6 drivers and 2 cautions for 6 yellow flag laps.
