Truex Jr wins at New Hampshire

#19-Martin Truex, Jr. won the Crayon 301 NASCAR Cup Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Monday. The win is his 3rd win of the year, 1st at New Hampshire and 35th career win. #22-Joey Logano finished 2nd followed by #5-Kyle Larson, #4-Kevin Harvick, #6-Brad Keselowski, #45-Tyler Reddick, #11-Denny Hamlin, #23-Bubba Wallace, #3-Austin Dillon, and #14-Chase Briscoe.

Truex dominated the race, taking the lead on the second lap and overcoming several late cautions.  He led 254 of the 301 laps. Pole winner #20-Bell only led one lap on the day. After a couple bad pit stops, he worked his way back into the top 10 until he got into the wall with 13 laps to go. Rear end damage relegated him to a 29th place finish. The race was run on Monday following postponement due to rain on Sunday. There were 13 lead changes among 9 drivers and 8 cautions for 41 yellow flag laps. The average speed of the race was: 101.572mph.
