Van Gisbergen wins at Sonoma
#88-Shane van Gisbergen won the Toyota / Save Mart 350 NASCAR Cup Series race at Sonoma Raceway. The win is his third win of the year, first at Sonoma and fourth career win. #19-Chase Briscoe finished 2nd followed by #9-Chase Elliott, #71-Michael McDowell, #20-Christopher Bell, #45-Tyler Reddick, #54-Ty Gibbs, #24-William Byron, #22-Joey Logano, and #8-Kyle Busch.
Van Gisbergen dominated again and overcame several late race cautions. He starting from the pole, won the second stage and led 97 of the 110 laps. The fastest lap bonus was #7-Justin Haley. There were 12 lead changes among 6 drivers and 6 cautions for 17 yellow flag laps.
