Hamlin wins at Dover
#11-Denny Hamlin won the Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Dover Motor Speedway. The win is his fourth win of the year, third at Dover and 58th career win. #19-Chase Briscoe finished 2nd followed by #48-Alex Bowman, #5-Kyle Larson, #54-Ty Gibbs, pole sitter #9-Chase Elliott, #23-Bubba Wallace, #12-Ryan Blaney, #17-Chris Buescher, and #6-Brad Keselowski.
Hamlin took the lead with just over 50 laps remaining and was in control of the race when a brief, heavy rain shower hit the track, forcing a red flag of nearly 57 minutes with just 14 laps remaining. He held the lead through a couple late cautions and two overtime attempts to get the win. The fastest lap bonus was earned #11-Denny Hamlin. There were 13 lead changes among 10 drivers and 8 cautions for 50 yellow flag laps. The average speed of the race was: 110.849mph.
