Harvick wins at Michigan
#4-Kevin Harvick won the FireKeepers Casino 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Michigan International Speedway. The win is his 1st win of the year, 6th at Michigan International Speedway and 59th career win.
Pole winner #23-Wallace finished 2nd followed by #11-Hamlin, #22-Logano, #12-Blaney, #19-Truex, Jr., #5-Larson, #43-Jones, #48-Bowman, and #45-Gibbs.
Harvick took the lead with 35 laps to go when he stayed out under caution and never relinquished the lead. He pulled away to win by nearly 3 seconds. The start was delayed by more than an hour for rain. The race went green at 4:33pm/et. There were 15 lead changes among 10 drivers and 7 cautions for 36 yellow flag laps.
