Dillon wins at Richmond
#3-Austin Dillon won the Cook-Out 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Richmond Raceway. The win is his first win of the year, first at Richmond and fifth career win. Pole winner #11-Denny Hamlin finished 2nd followed by #45-Tyler Reddick, #23-Bubba Wallace, #1-Ross Chastain, #20-Christopher Bell, #5-Kyle Larson, #77-Carson Hocevar, #9-Chase Elliott, and #99-Daniel Suarez.
The race went under caution during the first Overtime attempt. #3-Dillon took the lead with 28 laps remaining and had the race in control when the caution came out with two laps remaining.  The leaders pitted and #3-Dillon restarted as the leader with #22-Logano second.  Logano took the lead on the restart and took the white flag as the leader. Going into turn three Dillon ran into Logano, spinning him out and taking the lead before the caution came out. There were 26 lead changes among 9 drivers and 5 cautions for 23 yellow flag laps. The average speed of the race was: 100.155mph.
