Briscoe wins at Darlington

#14-Chase Briscoe won the Cook Out Southern 500 NASCAR Cup Series race at Darlington Raceway. The win is his 1st win of the year, 1st at Darlington and 2n career win. #8-Kyle Busch finished 2nd followed by #20-Christopher Bell, #5-Kyle Larson, #1-Ross Chastain, #17-Chris Buescher, #11-Denny Hamlin, #22-Joey Logano, #7-Corey LaJoie, and #45-Tyler Reddick.

Pole winner #23-Bubba Wallace finished 16th after being caught in a late race accident. #14-Briscoe ran a strong race, trailing #5-Larson for much of the second half. After a late caution he took the lead with 25 laps remaining and never relinquished it, despite a late charge by #8-Busch. The race was the final of the 2024 regular season. #45-Tyler Reddick is the regular season champion.
