Logano wins at Las Vegas
#22-Joey Logano won the South Point 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The win is his 3rd win of the year, 3rd at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and 30th career win. #1-Chastain finished 2nd followed by #18-Busch, #14-Briscoe, #11-Hamlin, pole winner #8-Reddick, #19-Truex, Jr., #43-Jones, #16-Allmendinger, and #3- Dillon.
Logano took the lead from Chastain with 2 laps to go and pulled away to win by .8 second, locking him into the Championship 4 race at Phoenix. Playoff drivers that had troubles: #20-Bell was caught in an accident on lap 95 after contact between #45-Wallace and #5-Larson sent Larson into Bell. Following the incident, Wallace confronted Larson and shoved him several times before walking away. Bell was unable to continue and finished 34th. #12-Blaney, running second with 40 laps to go, slid up in to the outside wall, spun down the track and hit the inside wall. The team made repairs and he finished 7 laps down, in 28th. There were 18 lead changes among 11 drivers and 8 cautions for 42 yellow flag laps.
