Briscoe wins at Phoenix

#14-Chase Briscoe won the Ruoff Mortgage 500 NASCAR Cup Series race at Phoenix Raceway for his first career win. He is the 200th different race winner in NASCAR Cup Series history. #1-Chastain finished 2nd followed by #8-Reddick, pole sitter #12-Blaney, #45-Busch, #4-Harvick, #18-Busch, #22-Logano, #99-Suarez, and #17-Buecher.

Briscoe led 101 laps on the day and held off a late charge by Chastain after a restart with 3 laps remaining to win by .771 second. There were 14 lead changes among 6 drivers and 8 cautions for 52 yellow flag laps.

• Stage 1 was won by #24-Byron
• Stage 2 was won by #12-Blaney
