Hamlin wins at Martinsville

#11-Denny Hamlin won the Cook Out 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Martinsville Speedway. The win is his 1st win of the year, 6th at Martinsville and 55th career win. Pole sitter #20-Christopher Bell finished 2nd followed by #23-Bubba Wallace, #9-Chase Elliott, #5-Kyle Larson, #1-Ross Chastain, #60-Ryan Preece, #22-Joey Logano, #19-Chase Briscoe and #34-Todd Gilliland.

Hamlin dominated most of the race, leading 274 of the 400 laps and the final 74. There were 9 lead changes among 6 drivers and 10 cautions for 86 yellow flag laps.

UPDATE: #43-Erik Jones, who finished 24th, was disqualified for not meeting minimum weight.

• Stage 2 was won by #11-Hamlin
